WHAT'S OUR MISSION

Start Taking Control and Feel Better Now: Practical Support Before Therapy

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve felt it - the weight of anxious thoughts, low moods, or that constant worry you’re just not doing enough. Maybe you’ve been putting off getting help because it feels like too much: the stigma, the cost, or just the overwhelm of where to even start. You’re not alone, and we get it. It’s hard.

At The Cloud GP, we believe no one should have to wait until things hit rock bottom to start feeling better. That’s why we created First Steps to Overcoming Depression and Anxiety - to give you practical tools you can use right now. No waiting lists, no endless Googling, just clear, actionable strategies to help you quiet the self-doubt, manage the overwhelm, and start to feel like yourself again.

We know life doesn’t pause when you’re struggling. You’ve got work to show up for, relationships to nurture, and maybe little ones who rely on you for school drop-offs, bedtime stories, and everything in between. This program is here to help you find your footing, so you can show up as the best version of yourself - not just for them, but for you. Because at the end of the day, you deserve to feel good. You deserve to thrive. Let us help you take that first step. Let’s get started!

HOW IT ALL STARTED...

So why did I step out of the comfort of my GP office?

Hi, I’m Dr. Shiromi. For over 15 years, I’ve been a medical doctor passionate about mental health. In that time, I’ve witnessed the incredible courage it takes to face depression or anxiety while trying to keep everything afloat - work, family, relationships, life.

But I’ve also seen the gaps. I’ve met countless patients feeling overwhelmed, uncertain about where to start, or caught in the long waits and barriers of the system. I’ve heard the same questions over and over: “Is what I’m feeling really bad enough to need professional help?” “How am I going to afford regular therapy sessions?” “I have too much on my plate, where am I going to find the time?” These fears stop so many from taking action when they need it most.

That’s why I created The Cloud GP and First Steps to Overcoming Depression and Anxiety – an online self-directed program designed to bridge the gap for those who aren’t ready for therapy but need support now. This program gives you practical tools to take small, manageable steps that fit into your life, whether you’re balancing a demanding job, caring for little ones, or just trying to keep your head above water.

Throughout my medical degree at Monash University, residency at Alfred Health, and my Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, I’ve witnessed how practical, early interventions can create real and lasting change. By focusing on small, achievable steps, I’ve seen patients regain hope and take back control of their lives - and now, I’m here to help you do the same.
